An Exciting Event: SPOTLIGHT ON THE UDDERBOT!!!

The udderbot is a woodwind instrument like no other: rubber glove
merges with glass bottle and ample water, delivering swooping four-octave
glissandi at the flick of a thumb. Jacob Barton co-invented the udderbot
in 2005 and (thanks to an utter lack of competition) has established himself
as the foremost udderbotswain in the Anglophone world. Jacob will perform
udderbot music both old and new, experimental and banal, with the aid of
electronics and a few more oddball instruments.

In addition to the udderbot, this performance will feature original rounds
about pets and utopias, as well as the rounds of 20th-century maverick
Moondog (Louis Hardin), presented in dramatic form via puppets.
